Stop trying and try to take your mind off of a baby for a few months. Just when you've forgotten about it, you'll find out you're pregnant. I swear this works. We tried for 4 months and I gave up...the next month I was pregnant. It must be the stress of consuming your mind with BABY that makes it not happen.

My husband adn I have been trying for almost 4 years. Sometimes it just takes time. Some women need fertility help (and some men). Not all women are able to have children. I have come to grips with this. I know that if nothing works for me to get pregnant, we will adopt. It's just a waiting game. But I know how it feels to want it so much and it is hard to be patient. But that's really what you need to do. You could have PCOS or something of that manner.. or a thyroid problem... or your husband/boyfriend might have a low sperm count. You both need to be checked out.. and you may have to try some other alternatives to getting pregnant. For some women it just isnt as easy as just having sex.. sometimes they need fertility help. See a doctor, both of you, then talk about the alternatives.

I'm in the same boat. I've been trying for almost three months and nothing yet. Probably because I've been trying a little too hard. So my hubby and I decided to loosen up a bit and just do it spontaneously (which is usually every two or three days) instead of worrying about not doing it enough. Hopefully we'll be able to relax a bit and get pregnant soon. Good luck.

I have gone 7 years of unprotected sex with my boyfriend and only once have I gotten pregnant which ended in a miscarriage, i have gone to several gynos, and the pap smears all turn out fine, I have had ultrasounds to check for cyst, and they turn out fine, It's not my boyfriend because I'm the one with irregular periods. Now this may sound crazy but most of my friends are Hispanic and they have had the same issue with pregnancy and instead of going to expensive doctors, they go to someone that basically massages your uterus back into place. They have told me that if your uterus is too low you will have trouble conceiving. My friend went to this lady in Dallas and the lady charged her $350 dollars, and i swear that it worked for her. She has had several miscarriages, and she also had the same irregular periods, she is now 7 months pregnant. I had a cousin with the same issue and she had it done and she also conceived a month after having it done. I'm only 23 so I'm going to hold off on getting it done for another year or so. But good luck on getting pregnant though, and I hope this helps you out a little

You don't say how long you have been trying for. If it is over a year...then you should make an appointment with a good ob/gyn or fertility specialist. Without having a series of tests done...there is no way that a doctor can tell you "everything is okay"

Gina, to get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 5 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.
