I would love to meet Stephen King and just have a casual friendly conversation over coffee. Having read almost all of his books, I'd like to meet his wife and children to gain perspective on his day-to-day character.
Most of all I'd avoid the formulaic questions usually asked by journalists and just LISTEN to him.

I would absolutely meet Douglas Coupland and ask him to play Lego with me. Then I would as him advice on Universities etc.
I would do this because he has been involved in such a wide array of professional fields and seems to be able to master anything. This is what I want to do.

I would actually try not to ask them anything. (Think about it, they've heard it all and do you really want to bore them?) I would just like to have some beers and some smoke . . . with CHRISTOPHER PIKE. He is the COOLEST.
