How do you stop visitation rights in TX?

Just put child support and worried about his rights and how it will affect my child. He has shown no interest in the past 3 years , I am scared he will make this complicated to get back at me.

You cannot stop visitation rights in any ftate unless the parent has a record of abuse toward children. Sometimes visitation can be stopped, other times it has to be supervised. All states are the same, EVERY child has the RIGHT to EACH parent.

Depending on the age of the child can determine if visitation is allowed. Can the child speak for him/herself?

My ex didn't care to see my children...we even lived 1/2 mile apart. Children grew up not wanting anything to do with him. Their choice...court couldn't change it.

Talk to a lawyer is your BEST shot. Child Support and Visitation do NOT go together. TX can order $5.00/month CS and unlimited, unsupervised visitation; or they can order $1000.00/month and NO visitation. There is no way of knowing unless you have a record of any confirmed abuse to the child.

The court won't care about father not having interest in child. In fact, they might demand that he does. Good luck, I can feel for you.

Unless he has drug problems or is abusive they're not going to revoke his right to see the child. Unless he trys to visit I wouldn't put up a fight. Putting up one now will only mean he fights harder, and generally a court will not stop visitation rights unless it's in the interest of the child. He might use it against you, but that's not against the interest of the child unless he's not taking care of the child while in his care.

charge him with abandomant, he has not seen the child for over an year, so therefore it is abandomant. visitation rights are gone!!!!!!!!!!! good luck! (:
