I gotta say, the old one follows the book better. Yes, there was a book, not just a movie. The songs in the old one are actually from the book.
I really like that bratty chick, Veruca. She makes me roll.

Absolutely! My favorite character has to be Mr. Wonka himself as portrayed by the legendary Gene Wilder.

Both versions of Willy Wonka are GENIOUS. I personally like Willy the best..........can't help it.

pssshhh, of course the Wonka movie is amazing! I would have to say that the best character isnt one person (though it is in the new one) it would have to be all the ompa lompa's for me.

I love the original, but then again I haven't seen the new one. My favorite characters are the oompa loompa's, I just love them.

I love it too ! it's better then the new one . I don't think that any remake of it will ever be as good.
