Homemade Remedy For Yeast Infection

Um....ew. If it was a yeast infection, your natural cycle should have taken care of it, even without treatment. So the fact that this has gone on for so long (and that you really don't have any of the typical symptoms of a yeast infection) tells me it's something else. Every woman has a natural discharge and some women have more than others. It's perfectly normal for it to "seep" through your underwear. But if your jeans are getting soaked through as well, I'd say that's fairly excessive. Really, the best thing to do is see an OB/GYN. If it's been a while since you've seen one, you probably need to have a pap smear done anyway. Save your pennies and make an appt. In the meantime, you can try a feminine deodorizer such as "Summer's Eve"...but that's a short-term fix.

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

There are many homemade remedies however i would suggest you go to your doctor as you may run the risk of an allergic reaction if you attempted to self-treat with all the differing remedies and may not be sure as to what your body may be reacting to.

At least with prescribed medication with certainty what the problem is.

Cranberry juice is for urinary tract infections. You need to eat a lot of yogurt, the bacteria in it is good bacteria and it helps get rid of the yeast. But why not just get monistat or go to the doctor and ask for Diflucan??
