i feel really sorry for your mate, i understand shes in a really bad place right now, and you are a really good friend to her, but i dont think shes a really bad person, i think shes been hurt in the past and shes trying to find her way in life, she needs all the help you can give her, and i know you will help her through this difficult time, you sound like a really good friend, and i know you care about her, so stick to it and keep loking after her just like you are doing now, with a friend like you she cant go wrong!

well theres differnt reasons why girls sleep around and it isn't fair that guys get away with it and and girls don't. Theres no differnce.
I was in a bad place and went stupid when i was really young, i let guys use me cause i think i was craving for male attention cause i never really got any growing up and i suffered from it and still do , peoples talk is nasty, some girls are just nympos with no morals, sounds like your friend is searching for something in the wrong places and the more u try and stop her the more she's gonna do it , so just be her friend ,and maybe gently remind her to be very discreet.that might make her think..

Never mind the reputation... what about STD's. I would be more concerned about catching some deadly disease than my reputation. From what my children tell me... today guys don't really care how many men a woman has slept with, so I think there is no big deal there. By the way my children are female-29 and male-26 both professionals, so I respect their opinions.

No nothing wrong with it any more then a guy as long as she is not playing with anyones feelings who really like her , likewise that would apply for guys.

Std desesases is about not usualing safe sex...the drinking is the problem there not the sex as you aint thinking straight. You can get deseases from touching breathing, eating food... Sex is no different

She aint getting used by the guys.... she is usuing them.

And not immoral unless hurting people like splitting up couples and attacking and being bitchy to people.

Hippy nyphs into free love were not immoral. Bitchy bully types are.

If doing safe sex.

And if worried about her self defence.

The problem is the alcohol

As for self respect, whats that got to do with having a good time and maybe as you said its her way of dealing with what ever upset she is feeling... beats cutting herself or other self harm or trying suicide.

This way she is meeting new guys and more likely to meet a nice one simply by mixing and in the mean time can feel she is sexy and wanted and can practice techniques.

Aslo young people are at fertility peek its normal to sleep around in late teena and early twenties in line with fertility and hormones.

If hse was in a realtionshipship she don't want to be serious if got hurt. understandable

Deal with the alcohol and underlying problems.

Morality is not being a bully pretty much,

Girls who sleep around are like guys... Bit lonley. Want to have fun, need affection, and self worth. Those whit someone specail get lucky..

Beats nothing and loinliness and feeling ugly and worthless as knowbody wants you.

What do you mean when you say your mate? I'm asking because if she is your girlfriend (lover) then how come you're o.k. with her sleeping around? If not--then is she from America and is she aware of some little things that can tend to get in the way of good health known as "std's?" I cannot imagine in this day and age people sleeping around on each other with the level of sexually transmitted diseases being passed. I don't even think that its a matter of protocol anymore I think its about being sensible, and logical. No it's not any different from when men do it........Lots of times it worse.........

Well I'd say they were tarts whether they are male or female, there's no excuse for it, your friend really needs to deal with whatever problems she has and leave the guys alone, it may make her feel better for a few minutes, but in the long run, she'll still be miserable if the problem is within her :)

To be honest it shouldn't do. But the world hasn't moved on a lot since the dark ages but women still can't get away with as much as a man. I know it's not fair, but that's the way it is.

But to be honest I think it's moved on enough and I think your Friend will get away with it.
If a guy really likes her he wont give a f**k what she's been up to. So it will more than likely work in her favour x

Sorry ladies and a realise it aint pc.... but I never had a second date with a woman I did not sleep with on the first one.... was not even wrth My time.
I am married now, happily going on 23 years. My wife??
picked me up hitchhiking, blew my brains out 30 minutes later " so we could get it out of the way and talk....
She has been My best friend, my confessor, and I am honored to say My **** for every waking hour of the past 23 years.....
Be yourself.... everyone else can run in circles trying to be someone else....

I think it is sad and pathetic, that if a guy sleeps around he is a stud. But, if a girl sleeps around she is a ****! It is wrong, but it is our society! I don't know if that will ever change.

A girl who loves sex and wants to experience it safely with many men is a girl who knows what she wants.
She shouldn't be labeled.

There is no difference but people treat women differently. For instance, most men will say that they actually slept with a 'sl*t', but they would never introduce her to friends, much less their mother. Whereas, women fall in love with male 'sluts' all the time.
