Guys and old guys think that im interested in them when i even take one glance at them in the street. i mean how am i supposed to walk in the street , looking at the ground the whole time? Hey , but looking at the sidewalk in the streets of new york does help. I passed by this one guy who was standing on the street. i was the only one there and he started saying hi to me, i got creeped out. What is wrong with these guys? and how to avoid attetion in ny?

It is not New York, it is MEN. You are an attractive female and MEN like what they see. There is nothing wrong with that, and you would get the same response in any city.
By the way, New York City was named The MOST POLITE CITY IN THE WORLD this morning. It was announced on the Today Show.
