Why In The Hell Is Everybody Catapulting Dwayne Wade Into The Top 5 Players Of All-Time????

Why can't he just be a good player on a good team about to win a title, instead everybody is obsested with saying he's better than Jordan...

Does anybody even remember what Michael Jordan did for the game of basketball... It seems that I'm the only one that does... Wades very good... but come on now....

Did anybody see the opening piece of the game tonight... they think Wade is Jordan... and its funny to me... HA HA HA HA HA... I guess Jason Terry is Scottie Pippen huh.... HA HA HA HA

I agree with you 100% on hes no Micheal but hes got more years to come and he can develop into a Micheal. The only way he resembles micheal is the creativity of his shots and he can work well under great presure (basicaly the way he plays the gamne).... however Micheal did greater things. I don't like the way Pat Riley brags about Wade. Riley is so cocky that you wish something would happen to Wade because of it. Mainly the reason ppl r saying hes better than Micheeal is that they forgot what Micheal did for basketball but they didn't forget the way he played. Wades style is similar to Jordans because he idolizes him so much and because his style is the same ppl think hes better than Jordan. But what they don't see is that Wade did nothing for the game.

NE ways thats how I seeit, I could be wrong but its a good guess he does remind me of Jordan but he is defenitly not better.






Also he is not one of the top five I can think of at LEAST 10 players better than him:
1) Micheal Jordan
2) Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
3) Karl Malone
4) Shaquille O'Neal
6) Larry Bird
7) Clyde Drexler
8) Julius Erving
9) Magic Johnson
10) Scottie Pippen




To in_a_state_o... (two comments down) everyone knows it's "Detroit Basketball" I mean way to copy us and secondly we're not hating we just think Wade is not better than Micheal Jordan. He is amazing though just hes not a Jordan.

I don't see anything wrong in that categorization. I don't doubt Wade's greatness, both as a player and as a human person.

I don't need to wait for Dwayne to have 6 championship rings, coz i don't want him to be just a direct rip-off of Michael Jordan.

D-Wade, for me, could even be better than MJ, ha. As early as his third year in the NBA, Dwayne has shown the skills that are far better than what Michael Jordan does when his Airness was in his third year of pro basketball.

He has proven how far he could get with his skills and humility. He's not like LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Michael Jordan who all got something in common--snobbish attitude. Wade has great potentials, and I'll just let time reveal it further.

I will always remember D-Wade's first ever NBA Finals MVP cup which he rightfully achieved during his third year in pro bball.... that's what I deem most important anyhow.

Go on, hate Wade and his skills... you can do what you like to think and do and say. But I'll also go on and support and believe in Dwayne no matter what.

If Ray Allen was in Wades shoes now as a member of this very talented Heat squad,they will be treated the same.. With Dallas's defense focused on containing Shaq and Wade running freely,Even if Carter was ,or maybe t-mac,or even Arenas..They would still get the media uplift.. Its a package deal in going to the finals.. Publicity as they call it.. Allan Houston,Penny Hardaway,Grant Hill had them before too..but didnt last in the league.. Wade will fade.. His one-dimensional game will easily bore people,especially when Shaq,Mourning and Payton retires..

Truth is,putting him to the Top 5 players of all time is a joke that will question ur ability to analyze. But that is the NBA finals, all types of publicity will come in just to make these games more interesting.. Its pure marketing strategy.. Nothing more..

LOL i'd like to see who said that wade is one of the top 5 players OF ALL TIME. nobody is dumb enough to say that. they might have said he COULD END UP BEING one of the top 5 players of all time.

thing is...he's not playing like he's just a good player on a good team. if anybody, dirk is playing like a good player on a good team. wade has taken over the last 3 games just like MJ did. he WILLS his team to victory even when shaq plays miserably. that is very jordan-esqe.

He's no Jordan. He can hit jumpers like nothin- that we are sure of, but he's no Jordan. I think the only reason why they feel the need to compare him is because they wish they were just as good as Wade. The media has a way to screw up everything. I've stopped listening to them when they said that Kobe wasn't "cocky".
