... or other investigators/law enforcers? I have found NO, but maybe someone can help me not generalize about them.

being a married police officer i would have to say no we don't. i know i put my wife thru hell from time to time. it has alot to do with the crap we deal with from day to day. when i copme home from work i find myself snapping over stupid stuff. then again i do work with some great people who make great husbands and wifes.

probably make great husbands...if you want 2 pretend your living in a p.o.w camp or something?!! I imagine they must be complete as$holes to be married to...abusive, always right, in charge, bossy, always prying, always trying to catch you out, tasting everything you do or say, wont trust you atall....oh sorry i was busy describing the typical British husband.....cant see that being investigator/law enforcer can make much difference!?

well that depends on who you ask, as a general rule no unless you are a cop also, the schedules and the nature of the work is usually too much for a wife to handle unless she is a very understanding person and willing to give a lot.

Have heard the many people involved with law enforcement officers experienced high divorce, and domestic violence issues.

for the most part depending on what area of law enforcement...they do bring home baggage... your basic police officer see's a lot but on a federal level it's much more graphic and harder to handle

They're in high stress job where either their life or the life of people in the community can be gone any minute for sometimes minuscule reasons. No I think they'd have to be pretty strong individuals to not be stressed and addicted to something themselves.

No they don't. Women are attracted to the man in uniform and the power they have. If you married to one - you'll probably be divorced down the line.
