Even though it's hard to believe, there is no real center. The center can be considered as relative to position. Think of us as a specific point on a balloon. As the balloon expands (like the Universe), every other point except for your current point spreads away from you.

That's a terrific question and the present day answer is seemingly absurd... everything is at the center! As we look at the universe from our vantage point it appears we're at the center. But a being on a planet in a distant galaxy (far, far away) would look around and say they were at the center. No matter where you go in the universe it appears everything is moving away and you're at the center. If that doesn't get you interested in cosmology nothing will!

If you consider the infinite vastness of space to be part of the universe then there is no center, if you are only referring to the furthest reaches of expanding matter/energy then at the center would be either a complete vacuum left where the big bang began, or a black hole singularity.

THERE ARE MANY STARS AND "PLANETS" PULLING OFF EACH OTHER'S GRAVITY. THE REST OF THE UNIVERSE IS "REPRODUCING" AND EXPLODING PUSHING OTHER STARS FARTHER AND FARTHER AWAY. WHAT ABOUT THE BLACKHOLES THEY THROW STUFF THAT THEY SWALLOW UP, ALL THAT STUFF COMES OUT CAUSES IT TO PUSH ANYTHING IN IT'S WAY. HOPE THAT ANSWERS YOUR QUESTION! LOOK AT SIDEWAYS TO SMILY! 8 P
