I don't think you can make a list of how many of things you need. Just be prepared for anything! Anyways congrats on your new grandbaby.

for a week i would say about 2 bags of diapers, lots of receiving blankets,( they are good for burping or covering.) nail clippers a must(prevents scratching of the face.) It will depend how many times diapers leak or how often they get sick on the sleepers. I would say 3 per day to be on the safe side. luvs are the best diapers. they hold the most without leaks. rash cream, drops for gas, wipes, powder, bath stuff, bottles,

about 3. you'll also need a few bottles for fluids (milk, water juice, etc), 2 or 3 blankets, a couple layettes, diapers, baby wipes, face cloth, towel, bibs, baby powder, baby wash, baby lotion, 2way radio if the baby has its own room so you can hear him/her from any room in the house. comb brush, caps...this is if mom and dad don't bring the basics with baby....it'll get you started. congratulations
