Stop having unprotected sex.................then you won't have to panic at all.
Go to your local Planned Parenthood, or your family physician.

I just had this scare..... and I was on birth control, but may have ahd a slip-up.
I was worried right when it was supposed to start, and I figured out that the stress of worrying can make it start later! (Ironic, isn't it?) I would buy a pregnancy test the day before it was supposed to end. The most acurate day to take the test is the day after is was supposed to have ended. A lot of tests say you can taken them after only 1 day, but that is not the MOST acurate time to take it. Also, take in first thing in the morning (think, you 'morning pee'). This may seem unnecessary, but I have always read that if you take one home pregnancy test, you should always take a second to be sure. I took another one even after I got my period about 6 days late. Take the 2nd test about 2 weeks after your period should be over. This may not seem necessary, but if you can afford it it is definately a good idea. Good luck.

First - are you eating properly? Or over excercising? Because that can contribute to missed periods. Or if you just started a new birth conrol pill your body may still be getting used to it. But if you've been on the pill for a long while, and you don't get it when you're supposed to..at all..then you should go get checked out at the doctor- you could have a uteran cist or may be pregnant. Drug store pregnancy tests are pretty accurate these days but you should probably still check in with your doctor!

They say that 5-7 days is the normal range for a late period. If it's later than that, I'd try taking a home pregnancy test if you think you might be pregnant. I've been told that stress can really mess up your cycles as well as dieting or weight gain.

If you miss your period go to a GYN. But if it only happened once and your system is back to normal then do not worry. The consequences of your period not coming may be internal bleeding or other health problems. If you were caught in the heat of the sexual encounter and did not use a condom or no other contraception and you miss your period then, i would worry!!!

Don't panic. Buy a test at the drugstore, near the pharmacy, generic is good enough. One day late is enough for the tests to tell if you're pregnant for sure.

Most girls and women can go up to 1 month with out a period, its nothing, your body changes daily. If your stressing about it, it still may not show up. If your out having unprotected sex then you have something to worry about.
