Depending on your income most drug companies offer freee meds or offer them at a greatly reduced price. You should contact your doctor's office because the reps leave information about prescription assistance all the time. In addition, there are programs to help out with the cost of meds... I don't know websites off-hand unfortunately. You may qualify for your state's Medicaid which is again dependent on your income. Also, talk to your doctor and see if he/she can switch your meds to generics. Despite what some people think, generic medications work exactly the same as name brand, but are cheaper. There are a few exceptions, but your doctor would be able to tell you honestly if your medciation can be switched to generic form. It is so much cheaper. Good Luck!

Patient assistance programs provides prescription medications to needy patients who do not have drug coverage through either private and/or government health plans.
Most patients that qualify fall under the following three criteria:
1. Do not have outpatient prescription insurance coverage
2. Do not qualify for government programs (e.g., Medicaid)
3. Do not have the means to pay for their medicines
Most of these assistance programs are sponsored by drug manufacturer companies.

Look on any receipts that have stored in a file somewhere. Your insurance number should be on a receipt somewhere possibly or your drugstore may keep it on file already.
