The USA has no culture, it has EVERY culture.

No other country in the world has citizens from so many other countries. No country in the world is as ethnically diverse as the USA. The 'melting pot' of cultures is better than any 'pure' culture out there.

I would say we are at a particular low point right now. 9/11 is still with us my friend. I could give a long list of people at the forefront of American Culture...starting with the writers, Melville, Whitman, Dickenson, Hemingway, O'Neil, Fitzgerald, Frost, etc., etc. and also for music and the arts. But, we were free than. We are part of a world culture now, mostly because of 9/11, and it is strange to us...our old freedom is gone. Our economy is part of the global economy, and this is a great unknown to us.

As for being in another country, I doubt things would be much better. Everyone is going through these globalization pains. But I encourage you to study ALL cultures. The faces of God are everywhere, the human brain just has a hard time wrapping it's mind around it. Think of Newton, or Einstein...were their theories self evident? No...it took us awhile to evolve to an undertanding of them.

Well, being Native American, I can say we have a culture thats alive and well... We are still here, alive and well living in every geographic area in this land
To say the US has no culture is probably incorrect because alot of the things we take for granted in todays society are unique to this country... which becomes part of the culture of being American.. you have the Forth of July, Thanksgiving, Juneteenth and other holidays that are unique to the US. We have borrowed things from other cultures, because this is a land of immigrants, Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Cinco De Mayo, are examples of things from other societies that we have put our own twist to them.
So you can over look the obvious and see no culture or you can realize that its a culture you just didn't realize existed.

My People are from this land that this country was carved out from, why would I want to be from somewhere else? The land still belongs to us... you are just here for now...LOL

After travelling to other countries in recent years I know we have many things to change in America. But I never wished I was from somewhere else. People are still risking their lives to get here and there's good reason for that. Many of our grandparents or parents gave up everything for the promise of America. So lets keep making it better and better!

yes... i have to agree, the u.s is made up of immigrants, whether it be irish, german, chinese, indian, or african, who came and brought their own culture. The u.s does not have one sadly, everything we eat or do is originated from some other country..., it all has to do with history. The immigrants created american culture, and american culture is boring... im glad im partly from jamaica, i get to do interesting stuff unique to my country
