Tell your friend's parents. This bully has no power but the power she perceives and is given. Once the real world powers of police, suspension from school, supportive friends and the wrath of her own parents come to bear she will soon be put back in her place.

Don't let anyone bully you ever. I am 38 and still bear the scars of teenage bullying. It is easy to prevent. Tell your friend to put her hand up to the bully and say "no" (like in Matrix when Neo stopped the bullets). As an adult, I still use this technique to handle people who try to put me down, make me feel bad or do other negative things in my life. I know that its a bit odd, but it works. I think that the physical raising of the hand (especially if it invades their own personal space) makes more impact than just shouting stop or something. My hand technique always buys me a few seconds to think about how I am going to react and control a situation.

Good luck to you. You are a good friend.

Theres a few ways to handle this - your friend could try talking to this bully and telling her that she is very sorry about pushing her and that it was an accident. Let her know that you don't want any ill feelings between the two of them and that she would appreciate it if she would stop bullying her.
You could also go the route of telling an adult - namely her mother. Her mother can go to the school and talk to the principle and demand that something be done about the situation. Her mother can also talk to the bully's parents about the situation if worse comes to worse. This could make things worse or better - depending on the punishment the bully gets and if the principle and/or the bully's parents get involved.
Something has to be done - unless your friends wants to spend the next year or two as a target by this other girl. Telling an adult is not the wrong thing to do - her parents and the school need to be aware that her safety is being threatened by another student.

If you know someone is being bullied by another person, you have to tell someone, such as a parent or teacher. The bully might threaten to hurt your friend more, but eventually it will stop. I think the bully might also need some counseling to get at the root of what's causing her to be so angry and agressive towards others.

I would still tell an adult! Go to the Principal and tell them about what has been happening, I know that at school no-one likes a dobber but if your friends safety is at risk then I would go for it!

No one has the right to be bullied or bully people. The bullier needs to get a life and pick on someone her own age and size - she is weak and feels threatened by your friend. That is the number one reason that people become bullies.

Let me know how you get on!

My friend was being bullied by a girl and her mom got an older student to tell the bully to leave my friend alone or else--it worked.

There are laws against bullying now. Get your friend to call the police. If this is a physical bullying she, or her parents, can lay a charge against the culprit(s).

You look that bully dead in the eyes and you tell her that somewhere sometime she will get whats coming to her... and that God will strike her dead if she comes near you or your friend again.. because the meek are mighty in the eyes of the lord...

She'll think you are crazy and never **** with you again...

If the friend will not tell her parents, as a good friend, tell her parents before the girl gets hurt. Also, ask her parents to keep quiet about how they found out, you don't want to lose your friend !!!
