Well at nineteen you still have alot to learn. But if someone is truly practicing discrimination or rascism report it , then file a complaint with a civil liberties group. Or get a lawyer. But too many people use it as an excuse for poor performance and a lousy work ethic. If you are truly doing a great job,write out why you should get a raise and be promoted and bring it to your boss to discuss it in an assertive and respectful way. Not aggressive way or whiny way. Every job has an EEO or EO rep you have to find out who it is most of the time it may be the personnel manager. Then make a complaint some times they are not on site they maybe at the higher headquarters.
