No, Gerad Way is the lead singer of MCR. Corgan has just reformed his band, Smashing Pumpkins, and even made a few appearances at some Alice In Chains shows.

I don't know for sure but I hope to God Billy Corgon wouldn't stoop that low. He'd go from actually having talent and using it to...well, not having talent and selling out. I don't think it's the same guy, though. Phew.
