Return it. If it is only 4 persons it can belong to, then other persons will identify them as well and see that it couldn't have been yours.

Furthermore, you will have such a great sense of pride in returning it, it will far outweigh any material value that you could get from keeping it. Trust me.

You ask the 4 people if it's theirs. If more than 1 says yes, you ask them to tell you some identifying characteristic about the watch.

Find the owner give it back. If they can afford that watch they can afford to give you hefty compen$ation for finding it. Plus if no one claims it within 30 days usually you keep it.

Tell all of them that you found a watch that might be theirs. Don't show it to them. To everyone who says "Oh, I lost a watch" ask them to describe it.

ask them if they lost a valuable item and if they say yes, tell them to say what it is and have them describe it.
