Well, I'm no tire expert, but I sure would not want a WHOLE new tire! I, for one, would only want the broken bottom portion replaced! When you find the ATHEIST TIRE STORE that only replaces HALF of a tire, you should surely post it on your ATHEIST website, so that we can all benefit from a half-*** job !

First of all, you could have just refused to buy ANYTHING from that store and went somewhere else. So, if you were taken advantage of, it's your own fault. Secondly, they can't replace only part of the tire. It's either a whole new tire, or nothing. Thirdly, I very seriously doubt any mistreatment given to you was based on the fact that you're an atheist. Unless you bounded into the store screaming "I'M AN ATHEIST!" at the top of your lungs, there was no way they could tell. Also, I don't think there's any such thing as a "Christian" tire store. If you really have a problem, call the Better Business Bureau. Honestly, though, I think you're just being overly paranoid and need to learn a little more about car maintenance.

Are you sure that the guy was discriminating you...did he come out and say...because you are an atheist YOU have to buy a new tire? Or was it that your tire's leak was in an unrepairable area? Most people think that any tire leak can be repaired. This is untrue, any hole in the tire that exceeds a certain size (which I don't recall the size, but it isn't too big), is no longer considered safe by DOT (Department of Transportation) standards...so a tire store would be placing itself at great legal risk if it were to repair a hole in a tire that is considered unsafe. If the hole was anywhere on the wall of the tire (meaning the side), it more than likely would be unsafe...as the wall is the structural part of the tire, and most holes would cause a structural problem in the tire. I would check out the facts of the tire, and figure out the stated reason of the problem by the tire company, before I would shout discrimination. Most business people couldn't care less if you are of a differing belief system as they were...they just want to operate a business, and have a good reputation.

What would religion have anything to do with a tire transaction? How did that come up? I wouldn't go back, but not because of the religious differences-- I wouldn't go back because I felt like the service wasn't acceptable. But you should've been able to ask him to just pump the tire instead of replacing it.

Though, I have a feeling this question is a joke anyway.

are you stupid? you cant just repair the "flat part" of a tire!!! If the tire is worn down to where there is no tread on it,..YOU MUST BUY A NEW ONE!!! No matter if the man was a Christian, which i am, religion and what you believe has nothing to do with this whatsoever,.....you just didnt want to spend the money is the whole point.

Common sense. If the guy's a moron, file a complaint that they did it out of religious discrimination and boycott the store. You have a right to be an Atheist, but they have no right to discriminate, insult, or humiliate you for your beliefs.

ummm, did he know you were atheist? because if he didn't, then he has no fault at all, that i can see from your story. also, can you even replace only part of a tire? i kinda doubt it, but i didn't research it or anything, so i could be wrong. i think you're definitely not the wronged one in this story

Dude, you're an idiot. It's obvious you're not an atheist, so quit whining and get a hobby.
