It's when a married couple agree to stay married but both partners can sleep with other people. Nice huh???

in the words of an old saying an open marriage is like having the best of both worlds... you have the security and comfort of marriage while at the same time you've got the freedom to **** anyone you wish. I wish someone could explain to me how that kind of relationship works in the real world.

An open marriage is 2 people who are legally married but allow for relationships outside of the marriage. Sticky situation if you ask me.

i'm not too sure myself, but i believe that term to refers to a marriage in which both partners are allowed, if not encouraged, to see (and sleep with) other people.

opean marriage is when ur partner sleep with other people and nither of you get mad, and you still love one another.
