Betty MacDonald's THE EGG AND I. It's the funniest and truest book ever written by an American -- and it's autobiographical. (The stupid movie, with Fred MacMurray, has NOTHING to do with the book and should be avoided like the plague.)

The Narnia series by C.S.Lewis, the Harry Potter series by J.K.Rowling, and the Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini. These books are all really good. Oh, a couple other series that are really good are any books by Tamora Pierce and the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. I don't know the exact name of the series by James Patterson but Maximum Ride is the name of the first book and I really like the series. Sorry about not naming just one book. I could never choose. I like books so so much that it is hard to choose between any one book or series. All of these books are juvenile and either sci-fi of fantasy. I love them all and I am 17 so the age grouping of these books doesn't really bother me. Have fun reading some good books.

Dragon Rider by Cornelia Funke, or for a guilty girly pleasure any (it usually ends up being all) of the Outlander books by Diana Gabaldon. There are countless others, but those are the two that come to mind today.

Actually, I read the Bible. No matter how many times I read it, I get intense inspiration. I feel a peacefulness that is beyond description. It reminds me that I am a mortal and that I must continue to strive to be a better person. My favorite psalm is Psalm 35 to (Plead My Cause) which shows God respect and asks him for his help. Then I like reading Psalm 4 for (Safety and Protection) to deal with the uncertainty of daily occurrences and to bring me safely out of bad situations. Remember this, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. Peace and God Bless.

Actually I am not much into reading books more than once but another question asked about a fantasy series and it reminded me of one I read many years ago, DragonLance, and I think I might like to read it again.

Memnoch The Devil - Anne Rice.
I actually have to get a new copy soon, mine's pretty worn out. I read it all the time. I love that God and the Devil aren't infallible in this book, they have very human traits. If religion was more like the ideas she puts out in this book, I might actually have stayed a believer.
