I'd like to try surgery,but I don't even know what I'd be asking for?

Here is my suggestion - it is really easy and guarenteed to work:

Eat less - move around more.

I'd only do the surgery if it was the last resort and it was medical.
I'd try walking or some sort of exercise, drink a lot of water, eat salads and fruit. Stay away from fatty foods!

start a walking program, try not eating after 7 pm, get those 6 glasses of water into you everyday, find a hobby that keeps you real busy

depending on your weight, you may or may not be eligible for surgery. my best advice is to go see a doctor and he/she will be able to answer that question for you.
