Trust your instincts on this guy, and stay far away from him.
Sure its fun flirting on the internet, but make sure that's all it is.
Give out no personal information at all. Nothing more than maybe the state you live in. If they ask for now, just be coy, and make up anything.
So go with your gut instinct, and be safe. Better that than sorry. I sue dont want to read another tragic story, on the news.

If you really like him then go meet him... BUT NOT ALONE! If he's not too far away then ask him on a double date his buddy and yours. Ask him to join you at a club and have a few friends stashed around for security. The only way to really get to know someone is to meet them. Over the net he can SAY anything about himself but seeing him in person is the only way to know for real. Be careful but be happy you found someone that interests you.

19 y.o guy can sound like 40 sometimes.. in fact 16 y.o can sounds as well. So that's not an issue. If you really like the guy, and have been talking to him on the phone, try to see him on the webcam... maybe he has it? If not ask him to take a pic of him with his cellphone and send it to you...
If, afterall you still want to date him, ask him to come to a place that you are comfortable with. If you don't feel alright telling your mom/sister/bro/dad (though you should be alright with that at the age of 17) tell one of your friends, and ask them to call to your parents if you don't give 'em a call at a certain time, and tell them where do you want to go....
Just use your common sense.. In facts maniacs on the net are tooooooooo rear. Well at list I am not.. :)

I think flirtin on the internet is not bad at all. It begins to be bad when the intentions on meeting and using the webcam are involved. I don't think you should see this man right away. Make sure you really know him and just be careful. Tell a friend what you are planning on doing and take him/her along just incase it goes bad at the beginning.

I would suggest being very careful. Try meeting in a very busy public place like a mall or busy restaurant. Don't agree to go somewhere "more private" and most of all don't get in his car. Dating on the net is fine just use your common sense.

I think personally that its wrong hell I feel sometime its not like they are going to come knock at your door tommorow thats if only if you dont give them to much information but you need to be aware of what they person that it trying to talk to you and what there real intentions are. tell ur parents change your phone number and your email and dont go to see him pleas dont go because u never know what happens well maybe u should just like flirt and not let them see u or anything dont give them your phone number or lie about everything and have fun

Your underage so its not real safe for you.
If you want to meet him then tell an adult and take them with you,, tell him also that you will only meet him with an adult with you, and see how he handles that.
