By gosh, why do you hate the guy sooo much! Name one real thing he's done that is just sooo very awful! I'm a 100 percent Tony fan that just doesn't understand this! Explain...don't just say he's a hot head!

By no means am I a Tony hater! I think he is one of the best drivers, not to mention he will probably win the championship...again. I think Tony is an awesome driver, and I think everything he does is part of racing. We can't blame him for being aggressive, he only gives what he gets. bumping is just a part of racing, and to be #1 you have to get in there and do what you gotta do. Smoke has what it takes to win. I am personally a Biffel fan, however, I have to give credit where credit is do.

Tony Stewart is cool. I think some of those who hate him have not been diehard NASCAR fans who have been fans for a long time(30 or more years)and don't remember the days when there were a lot more 'bad boys' in the sport and that beatin' and bangin' were more a part of the deal...I've said before, I've been a fan since 1971(which happens to be the year Tony was born), and the first driver I liked was Cale Yarbourough, who was not above messing with other drivers who messed with him...Remember the 1979 Daytona brawl with the Allisons, who were not known to be squeaky-clean either.

A lot of people don't like Tony, b/c a lot of people have gotten used to the robotic driver and immune to emotion responses. Tony has shown something that hasn't been seen in YEARS. You have a lot of people criticize him for doing something that has become out of the norm. Tony comes from a classic racing background. A background in which guys would race hard, and they'd leave it there or have it out and leave it at that. Tony's so called hot headnesses stems from being passionate and never accepting defeat. A lot of what he does gets misinterprated.There will always be driver's people hate and it seems that Tony gets more than his share, but his true fans stick by him and that's all that matters.

Tony is a hot head and is too aggressive! After his big speech about bump drafting he turned around and did it the next race! The whole thing between him and Kenseth, they were both at fault, but Tony went overboard!
I don't hate Tony, I just don't like him! He is a great driver, just too aggressive!

The only reason I can give for not liking Smoke is that he thinks his crap is golden. When he argued about bump drafting early in the season, the very next race he was the cause of a wreck for the same reason. Besides, people hate my guy more than yours. Ima die-hard Gordon (24) fan!! Last sunday's race was quite a bummer. Sure wish we Michiganders could have had better weather.

I don't hate Tony Stewart by any means. But, I can understand why people say they do with the temper tantrums that he has on occasion. He is definitely getting better at controlling himself, but when he gets angry at other drivers for no reason it makes fans want to hate him.

I am a die hard Dale Jr fan. However I do enjoy watching Smoke race. I think that people hate him because he is aggressive. What they don't realize is that Smoke drives old school the way they used to drive in Richard Petty's days. Don't believe me watch some old NASCAR races. I appreciate the races where he puts Jeff Gordon into the wall! :~)

Personally I am a Tony Stewart fan. His temper is amusing. He is the mentor of my favorite driver, Denny Hamlin.

i dont hate tony stewart,dislike is more to the word i would use.
he needs to take a leaf out of mark martins book and know when to take care when other drivers are trying to pass him and not make them crash.
maybe his bad luck lately will calm him down a bit during a race.

The dude wrecks other drivers (especially my favorite, Jeff Gordon)!!! Additionally, he has a tendancy to drive like a maniac.
