Step 1. Get a three way flat wheel puller, you can buy or rent one.
Step 2. Remove the large bolt in the noise of the crankshaft.
Step 3. Remove the large washer from the bolt removed.
Step 4. screw the bolt back in the crank.
Step5. you will see three threaded bolt holes in the face of the balancer, mount puller to balancer using three bolts
Step 6. turn threaded shaft of puller clockwise, and balancer will come off.
I owned a 1956 2door Bel air hard top convertible, 265 power pack. With power-glide transmission. I bored it to 283 Cubic Inches. Installed 10 1/2 to 1 Fuel injected pistons and a 098 Solid cam. Ran a !964 Rodchester Carb. With #32 primary jets and #68 secondary jets. Cut out Intake manifold so it had only two openings, one on each side. Made aluminum plate to fit bottom of carb. used two gaskets. Ran total of 33 degrees advance timing. And let me tell you this baby would fly. I could blow the doors of of any American made car out there in 1967, 1969, 1970. GTOs, Corvettes, Fords you name it, were history. This excluded Big Block Fords, Vetts And Cobras.

If you dont own one by now, then you should buy one or rent a wheel puller. Not a 3 jawed finger puller, but a puller that you run 3 bolts into the balance and then you turn the center bolt on the puller to push against the harmonic wheel and it will slide itself off. You may need to use an air gun to reinstall the center bolt back onto the crankshft so you can get the pulley back on. keep the pulleys in line and line up the keyway.
