One suggestion I have for you when naming a baby is not to get caught up in fad names that will be unpopular in 10 years....it is just going to embarrass your child when she grows up. And try not to go with all those weird "alternate spelling" names....that too is very faddish and silly.

There are tons of baby names out there....In the end I'm sure you'll pick something you and your fiancee agree on. You can try something that reflects your ethnic heritage, whatever it may be. Or you could give her a middle name after a loved aunt, sister, mother, etc. in your life.

Personally I like names that are more classy and elegant, like or Lana for example....reminds one of Lana Turner, the film star. One of my favorites is Ava, because it is not common and is quite lovely.

Go with something traditional, a lot of people have gone with some off the wall names and do not realize when they get to school how hard that name is to write or the teasing that kids can do.
