Does anyone know what the USA thinks about the situation on Congo.?

I am doing research on the UN and am going into a debate yet i can not find what the United States view of The situation in Congo is

Sadly, I don't think the U.S. has an official position on the situation in the Congo. In some respects, it is understandable that other areas would gain our focus right now, but I think our foreign policy has suffered recently, because of that.
