How do I get a drummer to ignore his new girlfriend and to start playing in a band? He thinks he's in love.

He was playing until he met her and now she won't even let him practice. He really is the best drummer in the city and he should be already headlining. What do you do when a person meets someone who they think they love and won't even let them practice one day a week for two hours? What should I do to get him back? He doesn't even know how good and famous he could be. PLEASE HELP!

if he's like 15-18 you just have no hope, move on for the time being, if he is older he's just dumb like all drummers, just get used to it

you can't force him! What are you going to do threaten him into being your crummer again? No. Try and break the couple up? No. Talk to him and see if he is going to come back, if not then move on and find another drummer. It's his own choice- respect it

let him do his thing some find love to be more important than other things like fame. that is selfish of her to make that decision for him especially if he was already committed to the band and she knew his potential but it is his choice whether to let her influence him like that. try talking to her to convinc him to not give up playing if she really loved him she would want the best for him and hopefully itll all work out somehow.

Tell him how much the band needs him also say that you've been friends longer than they've been dating and this could ruin your whole friendship. Tell him how controlling she is and if she can't give him space then maby she's to clingy and dependant. Hope this might help you a little bit!:)
