I worked for an optometrist for 2 years and sometimes we would have someone (usually female) come in who wanted to change her eyecolor, but didn't really need any Rx change. Several were models; several just wanted to play with their looks.

The optician had to specifically fit their corneas for the lenses that would be most comfortable. If you just put in a pair of colored or regular soft lenses, you could scratch your cornea. Yes, you can scratch your cornea with hard, soft and gas-permeable lenses.

Good luck and be careful!

In the mail no- you need to have your eyes fitted for contacts )even if you do not need them for corrective purposes, they still need size info and prescription info), but you can get free trials of whatever kind you wish from your eye doctor.

Print the coupon and see what it says. usually youhave to get them form your eye doctor and that might require a visit, so you might have to pay for that. If you are already wearing contacts and your doctor has your info they might be able to tell you how much it would cost for a color consultation and you can go from there.
