I like both movies, but I think St Elmo's Fire deals with some more mature issues. The Breakfast Club is more of a "coming of age" movie in my opinion. Both classics!

The Breakfast Club... It has all the usual high school characters... the "jock", the "prom queen", the "brain", the "rebel", and the "crazy one". I love it and I have seen it like soo many times... I know all the lines! St. Elmo's Fire is good too no doubt... but The Breakfast Club is better in my opinion. Happy movie watching, and good luck!

When you're a teen, then TBC is the way to go, but in college or early 20's you feel the fire. Both are classics and a reminder of my younger days. They just draw different scenarios, but the same emotions. It's all about learning who you are. Great question!!

The Breakfast club was better. I'm definitely the "Basket Case."

St. Elmo's Fire because it is a little more adult and it had Rob Lowe playing a frigging sax. What more could a girl ask for?
