25% of 100 is 25. 100 represents the entire whole percentage possible thus any percent of 100 is always the number you are asking. ex. 10% of 100 is 10, 100% is 100, etc. This is not really very hard and for those who are challenged you can use money to help you out.

25% turn in into a decimal: .25x100=25
heres another way to do this (its better but longer)
make it into a fraction: (25 would automatically be over 100 because it is a percent)
25/100 = x/100 and cross multiply
25x100/100=25
trick: is/of
thats how u know that the 100 would be at the bottom...cuz it says:
what is 25% OF 100
sry its a bit confusing

If you can not figure this problem out, it is very simple. I would arramge a meeting with your teacher for some extra help. Don't come to answers for all the answers to your work.
You take the amount of the percent, and put a decimal before it.
You get. .25
Multiply that by the number you want to find the percent of.
.25*100= 25
25% of 100 is 25.

the term "per cent" or "percent" means "of 100" in Latin, so 25% means "25 of 100" -- so your answer is 25. Similarly 54 percent (or 54%) equals 54, 98 percent is 98, and so on. So, when someone says they're giving 110%, well, they aren't because it's impossible to give 110 of 100, but the point is they're working hard.
