Rebellious, arrogant, strong willed personality says, I don't want to be accountable to anyone, or anything in the heavens or on earth. Is that reality, or how I really feel, no. We are all accountable to something or someone. Accountability means to answer to. If I am to answer to anyone or anything , than my respect or admiration , love or devotion, has to exist for the who or what.
