The best movie i have seen in my life is "The Passion of Christ", the reason being that even though it spoken in the hebrew language it didn't take a thing away from the movie, and it's the closest Movie I have seen, that actually tells the truth of how Christ died. No matter what people say about the movie it is and always will be the best Movie I have seen in my Lifetime because it is the TRUTH!

Call me crazy, but the best movie I've seen is Drumline and the reason being is because in life you will find that even though you can do something well, there is always someone who can do that same thing better and that is what had to be learned in Drumline. The section leader (Leonard Roberts) was great at what he did, but new kid on the block(Nick Cannon), showed him that someone else was better.

good question

It might be the Cuckoo (2002). Set during World War II in Lappland Finland, it tells the tale of 3 strangers. A Finnish student who was drafted by the Nazis to be a 'cuckoo' or sniper. Chained to a rock, cloaked in SS clothing, and left with a rifle water and food, he was expected to shoot russians, who would mistake him for a German. Meanwhie a Russian soldier with subversive (anti-communist) literature gets courtmartialed, and is taken back to Russia, on a road the passes the Finnish student. At a crossing a Russian plane mistakes the Russian jeep and bombs it. All but the Russian soldier die, but he is weakened by the blast. The Finnish soldier is working on escaping from his chains as a Lapp (Saami) woman comes across the Russian soldier and drags him back to her camp. The Finnish soldier frees himself, and wanders back towards his home. He comes across the Lapp camp, and he stops for some water. This is where the movie really begins, as none of the 3 can speak the same language. It is brilliant in the way these 3 learn to communicate with one another. I love this movie.

After that it may be Man Bites Dog (1992), which is a satirical look at how the media affects and promotes violence in modern society. Spoofing reality television, a fascinated documentary crew follows a charismatic yet unrepentant serial killer on his murder sprees. The crew attempts to objectively document the horror, but as the violence escalates, they ultimately get sucked into participating.A satirical look at how the media affects and promotes violence in modern society. It would have to be "The Red Violin". I loved the suspense, the passion, the history, it was awesome. Not your typical lame and boring Hollywood Ending *Yawn*

"Forrest Gump" - I like the simplicity of the movie and the characters. For a man that wasn't that bright, he led an extra-ordinary life, I think it was beautifully told and it is touching. There are definitely others but this one usually comes to mind first.
