Limewire drops or restarts download?

Question

why is it that when your downloading something and it gets to 25% or even 60% then its back to 0% and starts all over or just dissapears at 95%?

same thing happens to me and sometimes it never connects for a week or two...even if there is no firewall blocking it and my computter has got no problem too.....i guess its just limewire character to whatever it want.
