I dont like 'em. Its terrible how they offended Bush. Thye always seem to change their minds too: first they dissed Bush, then they took it back, then they took the agology back? Who changes their mind that much? Oh yeah, Kerry.

I LOVE the Dixie Chicks. I love their music and I love what they represent. They have very strong opinions and they stick to them. I admire the fact that they hold their head up high despite losing fans and ratings and money. I admire that they say that the fans they lost they didn't want anyways. I admire that they stick together and support each other through all of this. I admire the message in their new songs, and if what makes them happy is making music what does it matter if there are staunch Republicans that don't like what they have to say? They are doing what the want to do, and doing it well, regardless of people having negative opinions of them.

I like some of their music but I think they're highly overrated. They don't have a clue what they're talking about when it comes to politics.
And the song "Earl"... if it had been about some men killing a woman, you can bet there would have been a huge uproar over it. Instead, because it's about women killing a man, it's funny. Talk about a double standard.

I don't particularly like either country music, or women singers, so I'm not a big fan of their music, but I do support their right to freedom of speech; they should be able to say whatever they want.
It's kind of ironic; the people who like their style of music, for the most part, are the ones who hate them for what they said, and the people who support them for speaking their mind don't care for country music as a rule.

They are talented girls who can sing their a** off and I like the fact they have got the b^lls to speak their minds about the idiot George Bush!
That is why their new CD is doing so well minus the air play. Because people know they got talent and talent is what counts!
Tell whatever f%cking hicks that don't like them that they can GO TO HELL!

I like the Chicks.
I like them better when Natalie Maines is singing and not yapping about politics. She can really belt out the songs.

Their music is ok, but i really respect them for taking a stand against this administration when no one else would. That in and of itself is more that most people would do!
