so many people are answering this question based on personal opinion
noone is actually going by the standard that the absolute worst band in the world would be one that had sold <30 (thats LESS THAN btw) copies of their one single, couldn't make an album and noone has ever heard of them.
So spinning off lists of popular bands e.g. Rolling Stones, Fall out boy, even YES EVEN spice girls and abba is not going to get you taken seriously.
I dont like any of these bands, personally i would rather be flayed to within an inch of my life, have salt poured in all the wounds, be dragged naked over hot coals and then slowly fed to lions than have to listen to any of the above, but in their day THEY HAD FANS, and LOTS OF THEM. Does noone remember 'spice girl mania' in the 90's? the 'abba craze' of the 70's? I wasnt around for the latter, to young to remember the former clearly but i still know that these 'bands' had top 10 hits.
Sadly, there are weird and lonely people out there who enjoy these bands in their hundreds, and as long as they continue to do so, they can never be classed as worlds worst bands.

Girls Aloud,I can't stand them! But out of the ones above I'd go with westlife but Atomic Kitten are a very close second. I actually like some Cradle of filth songs,just not the really screamy ones!

The freshman music class of any Junior High School. It must be total torture and quite a challenge for the music teacher. Gotta hand it to Prof. for hanging in there with the ZRREEECCHH band.
From a professional stand point, Grand Funk Railroad was pretty awful. what they lacked in musicianship they made up for in raw energy and groove. Beyond that, they were pretty bad.

Every song sounds exactly the same and they all have the lyric "GO AWAY!" shouted in them in one place or another
K-FED!!!!!! Four Non-Blondes, boy bands (especially the ones that sang Summer Girls), Fall Out Boy, most country because most country songs have absolutely no distinction over the next. Offsprings (fools are still singing about highschool at the tender age of 40) ansd sooooo many more

Sorry I'd have to disagree. I would hacve to go with Tribute bands. Because they aren't original they are trying to get famous using someone elses influence. They didnt put in the time writing the songs and dealing with creating material. They just played somethign that already existed. Now Don't get me wrong i think there are tribute bands that can play their instruments but they should be creating music. that way I could rank them higher than GWAR and Mindless Self Indulgance.

OMG there are 1000's of bands available that don't even tournament as much as what creed replace into, i'm no longer able to have faith they have been provided that label, although no longer at the same time , i nonetheless love scott stapp or maybe though it replace right into a at the same time as in the past i offered his solo album. they are sturdy, i do no longer think of labels are anyhting to rigidity approximately reason they easily had adequate followers on the stay shows and to purchase their albums, its basically jealousy.

yeah atomic kitten are awful... they sound like strangled cats never been a fan of them.
i also dislike Slipknot God they're terrible i cant stand the sight of them just like when i see Marilyn Manson, how can people like such bands that represent death and evil? yuck and what they hell are they even saying when they speak in the microphones?!
even what kinda of name is cradle of filth... it don't sound cool as 'rolling stones' does it?
i know this chick ain't in a band but does Paris Hilton think she's gonna get far with that crappy, shite song 'stars are blind'? no don't see her winning anything love!!

Oh God, there are so many !!!!! Nickelback and all boring AOR bands, with nothing original in between them. I like my music more adventerous. Also all this crappy poppy stuff like atomic kitten, Westlife etc
