The universe is expanding...along with everything in it... the rate of expansion is undetermined because we do not know for how long it has been happening or how large the universe is. Time on earth is controlled by our own (the earth's) rotation and our axis around the sun.To answer your question, we, here on earth are so small in comparison to the universe that it would millions of years for us to fell the affect of the expanding universe, if at all.

No. It is space that is expanding. The sun's revolution around the sun will not change because space is expanding at the same rate all of the time.

The Universe is expanding, not our Solar System. God created the Earth in our Solar System "to be inhabited." (Isaiah 45:18), therefore He keeps it in spinning in just the right position for our life to be sustained.

The universe may be expanding, but our solar system is not. In fact, at the end of our sun's life, our solar system could collapse.

We're staying the same relative distance from the sun, it's the galaxies themselves that are moving further away from the "center" of the universe.

Yes, I suppose the solar system must be expanding too! But soooooo slowly. I think we will all be dead long before it becomes necessary to adjust time measurements.
