If you were living in, let's say, the year 3029. with really good people investigating, the answer will probably be on the news. but until then, the answer remains unproven. In the future, they will probably have better technology than they do today, as so I've heard. Please check your English.

Don't think so, there was an article I read a few years back that they have discovered that space actually is layered upon layers, with a rippling effect and instead of expanding into nothingness it is actually continuing to grow wider and deeper. Quite a concept. I wish I could find that article for you it surely would broaden your mind on the subject.
However, logic tells me that there is something beyond what you call its limits, there is a something more...we just don't know.

Maybe you could pass the boundaries of the universe, but that soes not constitute the boundaries of space. It seems logical that there has to be something beyond everything. But for infinity to exist as a physical entity, it would have to be expanding as we speak, infinitel faster than the speed of light, therefore, it is already there(where? Everywhere!)
Actually, infinite something is logically impossible. only infinite nothingness is possible, following logic.
