Yes a person can be too forgiving, if they like easily forgive someone just like that. Especially without them giving them giving the person a reason to forgive them and if they don't even apologies.

Yes, when forgiving another means putting up with abusive behavior. For give someone for being clueless and self-absorbed. Do not forgive when they know what they're doing and don't care how you feel.

In modern society... maybe.

But over all, I believe that forgiving someone who had wronged you in some way is a growing experience for the person who forgave them.

It is toxic to the mind and maybe the body as well to carry such dislike or disappointment within you.

Let it go... you'll be a happier person for it!

My sherry is too forgiving, i can be very moody and i have reduced her to tears a few times yet she always forgives me. I will never hurt her again as she is the most wonderful girl is the world to me and i love her very much.

Yes. Some things just shouldn't be tolerated. If you forgive them, they will just try to see how much further they can push your limits. If you keep forgiving them, then as far as they are concerned, anything goes.

Yes,it happens all the time with people that have low self-esteem.
The best way to break the cycle is to take a good look at who you are and what great qualities you possess.When you begin to realize that you are as good as anyone else,then you can stop getting walked on. I really hope this is a hypothetical question and not one about you. Smiles to you!

i am only "too" forgiving to people i really care about! my family and a few good friends and yes...of course rab...i just love him so much that not forgiving him (for whatever) is out of the question...
