Can anyone suggust a good router for home networkng and broadband internet connection sharing that is not that expensive,

A linksys router from http://www.newegg.com or http://www.ebay.com = $30
A linksys pc card from the same sites = $20
A linksys pc adapter for your desktop from the same sites = $15
The ability to surf the net using networking and with high internet speed access .... Priceless.

I have used LinkSys, Belkin, NetGear, DLink and Compaq.
I have had the most success with LinkSys, so that is what I install for my customers.
I recommend that you BUY it at Staples, since they have the easy return policy.

I have linksys...its awsome can share 4 computers, 50 bucks at circuit city.

D-link or linksys are your best choices for the price.
