Very good question but here is your answer.

1. Joe Montana-Didn't have the most athletic ability but knew how to win which is the best attribute a QB can have.

2. John Elway-Even though he might be the most physically gifted QB to ever play he's still playing second fiddle to Mr. Montana which isn'ta knock against Elway.

3. Dan Marino-Simply put the best pure passer to ever throw a football. But never won the big one.

JOHN ELWAY !!!!!

NO other quarterback in history has taken 3 teams with so little
talent to the Superbowl. Period.
He literally carried and willed them through the playoffs against
superior teams 3 different times. While they did lose the
big game all 3 times, you cannot deny that they overachieved
in each of those years. Cleveland, in particular, had a much
deeper team from top to bottom, with the exception of the
Q.B. position and John picked the Broncos up on his shoulders,
with legendary performances, to lift them to victory.

Then, when he did have a complete team, he won back-to-back
Superbowls.

Well I though Manning was the easy answer. he is accurate and can make the defense miss with the hurry up. Sure he has harrison but he created Reggie Wayne. Also made Stokley a common espn name. i guess this season will be a real test without EDGE. But you gotta admit he could have had more TDs than the record shows. It just means he has class and respect. he wins like a champion and loses as one too. I also believe Harrison isnt as huge of an impact as people say. Marvin is a stud reciever. Thats good cause it draws defense and he has proven he is fast knows how to use his hands and can move around. However its bad cause number one guys with career stats like his, get upset when they dont get the ball. I think Manning feels like he needs to give him the ball a set number of times. I'd like to see him have complete control.

Without a doubt John Elway. Great arm, mobile, most wins ever, most come from behind 4th quarter wins, never out of game with Elway there. To the SB 5 times, winning twice....the 3 loses he carried sub-par teams there only to lose to much better teams.
