to answer questions that have an avatar,a real picture/silly picture or no picture.And do you let the picture affect your answer or do you answer honestly despite the pic.Sometimes I feel I get stupid answers to my Qs based on my picture.Should I use an avatar instead?

I just try to answer, post or whatever truthfully. I think the e-mail or instant message can be a double edged sword. While it allows us all to connect more often it also hides us behind a curtain and we sometimes lose our compassion and are more harsh online than in person. Inhibitions get lost on the net and sometimes we see the ugly side of people. That being said, I have enjoyed many mindless but enjoyable conversations with total strangers, with or without pics. Your picture is enjoyable and my sense is the nut jobs will come out regardless of how you share your profile.

I think that most people would like to think that the picture they associate with the person does not affect their answer/ the manner in which they answer. But the subconscious mind will influence us to do things or act a certain way that we are not aware of. Look at the media. Why do you prefer one soft drink over the other, etc.
Yeah it probably affects each of us alot more than we realize.

who cares about avatars i usually answer questions that i feel i can answer or that i can understand not because i see a cute guy in the avatar, remember in the computers internet you can do or put what ever you wish a guy can put a picture of brad pit and hes a piwie herman ,a girl can put a picture of a pretty britney spear and maybe she looks like those ugly ladies of jerry springer so forget about avatars just have fun answering and asking questions and dont think about that .

I don't let the pictures or lack thereof affect the answers I give. That being said, If I were you, I would switch to an avatar.

In general I like profiles that have a real picture. To both see what the person looks like, and know that they are not just to lazy to put a picture up. And avatar or funny pic is fine though. You will be judged by whatever you put up..picture of yourself, funny pic, whatever.......

I prefer to answer question from people with some form of picture/avatar, but I don't base my answers on them, they are merely pictures, they don't necessarily sum up the person they belong to.

You should use an avatar. You are very pretty. You will probably get hit on a lot if you use your picture. If you are as intelligent as you are good lookin you don't have to worry about anything.

I don't let appreance of a person reflect on how I answer a question. I try to give good answers all the time. Some people just like to be silly.

I don't think that the picture has anything to do with the answers you receive. It all depends on the question and who's answering it. So do what you want for your picture, it shouldn't matter either way.

To Answer your question: No, you're unique. I remember seeing your image because it isn't a cartoon face, drawn, like the rest. if I "had any decent pics of myself" I'd use a real pic too.
