stay away from these the engine wiring harness sheds its insulation and replacement is not worth it [last estimate given was more than 1500.00 U.S. wholesale plus labor] other than wiring harness and being a pain to get to anything more than a oil change it was a completely mediocre car.

It's not. I would not recommend this car. My dad calls them the contrast and mistake. Buy a 2000 taurus if anything.

1) is it new? and 2) depends on the miliage it might have to be rebuilt check to see if the heads are cracked

what? watchout for recalls there are a few for the contours but not sure which ones and for what---call the dealer for more info-it's free!!!!!!!!!!!!

they have many problems. i almost bought one it looked great, thank god i had my mechanic look at it.
