Work in a verizon stores technical dept.
Could they hier chimps to do the work more efficiantly?
I have been a customer there forever, but when I have a problem with a phone, like my razor that screen went blank they seem to know nothing.
The guy said they would exchange my phone but I would have to come back the next day because people were in line in front of me AFTER I WAITED IN LINE.for an hour and a half.
What it takes a day (, wait then changes it to a few hours,. )
to go in the back and get a phone???/

Motoraolla the people that make Razor phones... well there is absolutely no way to get in contact with them.
The phone was still under warranty and after a phone call I was told that a tech. would have to look at it to verify a problem.
When I got home I called Verizon and they mailed me one out Fed Ex overnite.
Next Im telling them they can pay for the delivery.
I tried to complain to Verizon on phone they said I would have to call the manager at that store.
I waited in line that long because I had no other choice.

Chimps are smart and have too much pride to work for Verizon.

You wouldn't find me standing in line for an hour and a half over a broken phone. I think I would have thrown the phone at him. The employees they have in their little shop are only trained to sell you the phones. I think they should at least have someone in their store to deal with the technical problems. And your phone model may not been in stock or they had to send it back to Verizon in order for you to get another phone. For whatever reasons, if there are too many people in line, then they need to hire more people.
I use Tracfone, it is the cheapest for me because I only use it for emergencies or if I need to call home for something. If I have a problem, all I have to do is call their tech support and it's fixed right away. I have only had 2 problems in the past year and a half with my phone.
I would complain to Verizon on their web site. Something needs to be done about this situation. No one should have to stand in line that long. That is down right cruel and not acceptable to me.

Does the phone have a toll free number to the manufactor on it ? If so I would call the manufactor of the phone before I took it back to the store and see what they tell you. If you can't get No real answers from them then take it back to the store. If you have No other options but to leave it there then You will have to do that to be able to get a new phone.

From what you just described, chimps would be a vast improvement. Chimps instead of chumps. Did you see that black-belt karate chimp on TV? He's too good to work at Verizon, lol

I am still stuck on the fact you waited in line for an hour and a half?????? I wouldn't wait in line anywhere for that long. If I did and the guy told me to come back tomorrow, I would have gone over the desk after him and choked his neck until he waited on me. The police would have had to pry me off him.........That is sheer insanity to wait that long and then be told to return the next day........

verizon sucks. they have good coverage, but their customer service sucks. i have their dsl service, and although it is better than my previous provider, it took me 2 weeks of arguing over the phone to get it to work. they kept saying that the "problem" was on my side, and i kept saying that it wasn't. i asked it they would send a person over to check it out, but they wouldn't. finally, they sent a guy over. he didn't even have to come in my house. he checked the phone box outside the house for about 2 minutes and concluded that the problem was on verizon's side.
screw verizon.

Because they are SALES people, not Technical Service. Contact their customer service group.
If your not satisfied, try another company. By the way, I have a NEXTEL, never had Verizen so no ax to grind.

At some point during "forever" you would have had to renew your contract. At the point, you let them know you do not care for their customer service and stop being a customer. There is no incentive to improve their service if they are not being hit where it hurts.
