My skin is so oily it's a nightmare! Proactiv is great. I use their face scrub, toner, and this wonderful gel-like stuff called "Oil Control." When I'm out of the Proactiv, though, I use Clean & Clear's regular cleanser in the morning and blackhead scrub at night. Neutrogena's deep clean scrub is also good. For make-up, I use Proactiv. Their make-up won't clog pores, controls oil, and helps heal blemishes.

Also, it might be worth your time to see a dermatologist. They can usually prescribe a medication (topical or pill) that will greatly help your complexion.

Hope that helps!

I think the best face wash to use is Proactive I have been using it for about 1 and 1/2 years now and it works wonderfully for me. If you can't afford that Neutrogena is a great cheaper face wash. A face wash with an exfolatior is a good thing for oily skin... The best make-up that I have found is cover girl for oily skin..

Try a face wash that is oil-free yet non-drying, like phisoderm. It works great for me, and I have found that products geared toward acne/oily skin (like clearasil) are irritating and may aggravate the problem. Gentle, yet thorough cleansing is best.

As for make-up, try you can try Peter Thomas Roth's Anti-Shine Mattifying Gel, which you can get at any Ulta or department store. You put it on before the make-up. It's a bit pricey ($35 for a 1oz bottle), but it has worked miracles for me. I have extremely oily skin, and I can for about six hours without a touch up.

Bear well I know it's spelled a different way I just can't remember how.It works very nicely on oily skin, without adding more oil,and you don't even know you're wearing.Or you can try eyes lips face, that's the name of the store, but it's an online store and very cheap.Don't listen to a girl saying everything is a dollar there, because it's not it's just very cheap and works just as well!

Neutrogena is great for this!! It helps with oiliness and breakouts and is actually supposed to be better for your skin than wearing none at all. Same with the face wash, there are many great neutrogena products...personal favorite of mine is the foaming facial cleanser which removes makeup and cleanses skin in one step :)

when you go shopping for make up,make sure it says oil free on the label, and the face wash you should use is called cetaphil for oily to normal skin, wash your face at night and the morning. what I do is was h my face with cetaphil and an apply oxy pad on my face and it really cleared up my acne!

i also have very oily skin. for wash i use neutrogena deep clean... and occassionally, sea breeze or noxzema and at least once a week, i do some sort of mask...peel off or mud...at home. for make up...i try to minimally use foundations and powders...i stick to using a little blush, eyeshadow, mascara and lipstick/gloss. if ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY...i use foundation or powder only where i have blemishes i want to camoflauge.
