why when i play canasta the other player always gets to go first all the time?

on yahoo canasta ............my opponent always go's first most of the time ?

If you're the host, it's only polite to allow your opponent to go first when they join the table. Probably it is your turn to go first on the 2nd game you play with them, but maybe you don't usually play 2 in a row with the same person. Maybe if you Join a table rather than Create a table, you will go first more often.

I play on pogo and you can play against the computer and it lets you take turns on going first but if your the host of that table than maybe its nice to let your guest go first.

sit on the blue side instead of the red, its suppeosed to be random but it usually starts blue
