I don't mean just criticism of America, I mean downright hatred. I just thought I'd ask just in case there might be that perfect country where there is total love and compassion for EVERYONE. There is no crime, no greed, no poor.

No country is perfect.

And no country is above criticism.

Funny how so many Americans don't seem to understand that.....

Sweden comes close as do deveral others.

We are becoming a long way from even being marginal!

Greed, crooks and potiticians run this country and to hell with the poor.

We are the most homophobic, racist country on the face of the Earth.

There are plenty that are worse but we are no role model!

i think America is still great cause of our founders, not just in government but in business as well, we brought capitalism to a new level. that's why the commies always say you "capitalist pigs" because America has turned war into business and we want to conquer all, and all is fair

its a % Americans i don't like: lazy, whiny, never want to help anyone(even though we do), and think we can let the rest of the world destroy it self and somehow we would be left out and still make money off the whole thing

the time to get involved was a long time ago, and i mean for Americans, cause obviously sections of our government having been manipulating lots of other governments with their own intentions, instead of ours because we as Americans don't want to get involved

America is as good as it gets. We are always there to help other people in natural disasters. We bring sick children here for medical treatment and surgery and most times at no cost to them. Yet, we are still beaten on.

We are not perfect, but we do try. I am an American and proud. If people think badly of Americans, they haven't met all of us. The vast majority of us are pretty damn nice.

There is no such thing as a perfect country. To me, America comes the closest though (with all the rights we have).

good criticism of america is important to deal with and solve our real problems. Several countries including sweden and Switzerland have better systems than we do.
