Definitely the groom! There were warning signs all over the place we weren't compatible but I just wanted to get married - too insecure to stay single and wait for the right guy to come along. Unfortunately the right guy did come along 15 years later - I met him at work - the feeling was mutual but I was and still am married (for the sake of the kids, don't you know) so I took the high road and quit the job before I got seriously tempted to stray (not that he would have agreed to it - he was an honorable man and would have insisted I get a divorce first). But I still think about him every day and regret I didn't wait for him to appear in my life.

replace the groom for someone else. I wound up with a mama's boy and that's not fair for anyone!

I would have made my friend listen to the sermon that day. It would have maybe saved her marriage.

The officiant. He was drunk, off his meds, or both. He mispronounced both of our names and said "intRegity" instead of "integrity."
