I was on the depo shot for 6 months..I got pregnant 4 months later (no I wasnt trying to, but I wasnt doing anything to prevent it either, except for the hold faithful PULL OUT technique)and had a miscarriage at 6 weeks! I dont know if the shot and anything to do with the miscarriage....Everyone is different!
Good Luck!

I conceived while on and using the Depo Shot..
I never missed an appointment and did everything on schedule..
I think every woman is different and when it is their time to have children, no matter what you are or are not using for contraception, you will conceive..
and P.S.,
My child is at the top of her class and is highly intelligent. Not a bit slow, makes most of the other children her age seem "slow"..

Conception is definitely possible after Depot Provera. The issue with Depot however is that its effects can last anywhere from 6 to even 12 months after the last injection. You will know the effects of Depot are over when your wife begins cycling normally (having regular predictable periods).

It took me 6 months to concieve once I got off the shot, but it could take up to a year. Basically as soon as her periods start coming back and she starts having normal cycles she will be able to concieve.

I took the dep. for some months and that i became nerve-racking concerning an identical issues. i'm going to by no ability take the dep. back because of the fact I did hear that it may desire to boost your threat of infertility. like each and every variety of drugs fairly start administration it is going to take it sluggish to get out of your device. for sure even though it did no longer make me inferitle because of the fact I now have a 2 12 months previous.
