Well one of my favorites is (I was the fat kid growing up so I developed quick comebacks) to look whomever straight in the eyes and with the most sincerity (meaning sarcasm) say, Wow. That really hurt my feelings. I hope you feel better about yourself now that you've tried to hurt me. (You can always elaborate seeing how the situation progresses).

You could say to the person who's picking on you....'I may be short and old but when I wake up tomorrow moring i'll be happy, when you wake up tomorrow morning you'll still be ugly'!.... Hope that helps, It's the best i could do!

Well a head-but square on the nose normally stops dumb shi*t like that. Personally, though, I gave up fighting and read a mass of books on interpersonal relationships. That stops all arguments as we just don't argue with idiots. Mainly because, as Solomon tells us, if we argue with an idiot then we are as foolish as they. Start with his proverbs.

I agree with the first answer -- ignore it. They're only trying to get you to react, so not reacting is the best reaction of all!!

I have always found that asking a question (about something they will actually think about) that has no answer works well. Once you have them thinking, you can just walk away. When they come to you for the answer, you have leverage...always seems to work; even on the stupidest of people.

I find that just ignoring the person like they don't exist bothers them more than mouthing off at them. Give it a shot.
